We are delighted to confirm the appointment of Aberdeen based agency Design and Code as our first Media Partners. We’ve been working closely with the agency over the last few months to begin the process of redesigning our official club website as well as updating and improving how we interact with our supporters.
The new look site will be developed over the coming weeks after this initial launch. We will also be revealing other exciting ways that our fans can keep in touch with what’s happening at Cove Rangers before the start of the season.
Cove Rangers chairman Keith Moorhouse said: “The partnership with Design and Code is the latest step in strengthening our club going forward. Interaction with fans is crucial and we believe what Design and Code have come up with is Premiership standard. The new website will allow us to provide video interviews, match highlights and a host of other exciting initiatives that we hope will help to expand what is already a growing fan base.”
“We are especially pleased that we have managed to partner with a company based in the North East. Supporting and promoting local businesses has always been a key part of our strategy. I would like to thank Design and Code for agreeing to come on board at this crucial stage of our development and everyone at Cove is excited to have the opportunity to work closely with them.”
Design and Code launched in 2012 and are seen as leaders in brand communication and digital technology. The company was voted ‘Agency of the Year’ at the Scottish Tech Startup Awards in 2019, beating off competition from agencies in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
They offer a comprehensive range of creative and technical services including brand, design, animation and digital development. As well as partnering with clients from a variety of sectors they also support organisations making a valuable impact in the community.
Tuesday Stevenson, DAC Creative Director, added: “Fostering positive partnerships within the community is a key driver for DAC so we are delighted to join forces with Cove Rangers. We have a proud history of working with the community in the North East and throughout Scotland on projects such as Look Again Festival, Aberdeen Performing Arts, Rotary International and Sense Scotland.”
“Like Cove Rangers, we know the importance of supporting and connecting with local organisations, so we feel that we’re well aligned in our approach. With several big football fans amongst the DAC team, this partnership also gives us the chance to bring lots of creativity and passion to the projects we carry out with the club.”
