DEFENDER Scott Ross spoke to the media ahead of tomorrow’s Championship Play-Off Semi-Final, first leg, with Airdrieonians at Balmoral Stadium, 3pm kick-off.
Scott said: “We are under no illusions just how tough this game is going to be.
“Airdrie beat us up here last week and went on to clinch second place in League One, which underlines how good a team they are.
“But we realise what’s at stake in the play-offs, these are the biggest games yet in the history of our club.
“To make it to the Championship at the end of only our second season in the SPFL would be incredible.
“It would also be huge for me on a personal level.
“The Championship is the one division I have never played in before, it would be wonderful if I could do that with Cove.
“I’m 30 now, so for all I know this could end up being my last opportunity to achieve that.
“That will be an extra motivation, not that any of us really need one.
“The games are big enough on their own.
“It’s been a long, tough, season but we know we are going to have to make one final push if we want it to end on a high.”
