Harry Milne spoke to the media ahead of this evening’s Premier Sports Cup clash with Hearts at Tynecastle.
He said: “I’ve never played at Tynecastle before, so I’m really looking forward to the game.
“Hearts are coming off the back of the high of being promoted back to the Premiership and will be eager to do well in this competition as well.
“It will be tough but we have always done well against the sides from the top flight in this cup in the past.
“You want to show you can compete with the best – and know you are going to have to do that or you could end up on the end of the sort of defeat nobody wants.”
Harry returned to action against Stirling Albion at the weekend after six months on the sidelines recovering from an ankle injury.
He praised Head of Medical, Donal Gallagher, for the part he played helping him and team-mate Jamie Masson, who has also recovered from an ankle injury, get back to full fitness.
Harry said: “Both of us were in with Donal three times a week, right through the summer, working hard on our fitness.
“We really appreciated him sacrificing so much of his spare time, during what is normally a break for people at the club, to help us.
“Donal made us work really hard but we knew we would have to do that if we wanted to get back playing as quickly as possible.
“I feel pretty fit now, but my legs went a wee bit as the game against Stirling progressed, which was why I went off.
“It’s now a case of getting my match sharpness back ahead of the start of our league campaign.”
Tonight’s Group A clash kicks off at 7.45pm and is being screened live on Premier Sports.
