Manager Paul Hartley and midfielder Robbie Leitch spoke after our 3-1 cinch League One victory over Dumbarton at the C&G Systems Stadium.
Paul said: “I thought we were really good in the first half.
“We controlled the game, there was some really good play and we scored a really good goal.
“The front two were magnificent off the ball and with their link up play on the ball.
“We caused them all sorts of problems.
“In the second half, we got spooked in terms of their style and were a wee bit guilty of giving away too many free-kicks.
“We didn’t have a great start to the second half but the players dug in, their reaction was terrific.
“We showed really good spirit and good heart.
“That’s because we were under pressure.
“When you are away from home and they are throwing balls into the box you have to concentrate and have to be resolute.
“Any game away from is always difficult, so to pick up three points is really pleasing.
“There was some good backing from our fans to, it was terrific.
“It was good to get a result and make it a good away day for them.”
Robbie, who scored our second goal when a Blair Yule cross struck his shoulder and looped over the Dumbarton keeper, said: “A lot of teams struggle when they go down to Dumbarton, so we were just happy to get the job done and get the three points.
“I tried to go with my head for the goal.
“But if I had headed it I think I would have missed, so I’m lucky it came off my shoulder and looped the goalie.
“I really don’t know how it has gone in, I’m just delighted it did.
“Hopefully I can keep the goals coming and stay in the team.”
