Striker Rory McAllister spoke to the media after putting us ahead in our 1-1 cinch League One draw with Montrose at Balmoral Stadium.
Unfortunately, Rory’s fifth strike of the season wasn’t enough to earn the three points because Graham Webster replied, from the penalty spot, for the visitors.
Rory said: “It was frustrating that we didn’t go on and win the game.
“We created a lot of chances in the first half, while they created very little until the penalty.
“We’ve watched the penalty incident back and the challenge was outside the box, which is disappointing.
“I’ve been in football long enough to accept you don’t always get decisions to go your way.
“Montrose are a well organised side and have been doing well though, so getting just a point off them isn’t the end of the world.
“Hopefully we can kick on now and string a few wins together.
“I was glad to score, since I’ve got back in (to the team) I feel I’ve done well.
“Hopefully I can stay in the team and keep the goals coming.”
We visit Rory’s previous club Peterhead in our next league match, this coming Saturday.
Rory said: “I spent the best part of my career up there so it’s always nice to go back.
“I enjoy catching up with the people at Peterhead that I’m still friendly with.
“We are going up there to win though.
“It won’t be easy because Peterhead are coming off the back of a great result for them at the weekend.
“We accept we will have to be at our very best to come away with anything.”
