Paul Hartley has been voted as November’s League One Manager of the Month, presented by Glen’s Vodka.
The manager has been recognised after a month that finished with us leading the cinch League One table.
We kicked off November with a hard-earned 0-0 draw away to Montrose.
That was followed up by a 3-0 victory over Peterhead at Balmoral Stadium, thanks to two goals from Mitch Megginson and a single from Ryan Strachan.
Mitch was on target again, along with Fraser Fyvie, as we ended the month with a 2-0 win over Airdrieonians at The Penny Cars Stadium and leapfrogged The Diamonds into top spot.
A 2-2 draw with Queen of the South in the Third Round of the Scottish Cup was next but we finished November in style by securing a place in the Semi-Final of the SPFL Trust Trophy with a 5-1 victory over Rangers B at Balmoral Stadium.
Paul said: “It’s great to receive these awards, but I see them as a tribute to our team and coaching staff, as opposed to any individual.
“We wouldn’t have done as well as we did in November were it not for the often unseen efforts of my back room staff to ensure the players were ready to do the best that they can.
“The players also deserve full credit for excellent performances in three of the most testing league fixtures of the season.
“It was particularly pleasing that we also completed the month without conceding a goal in the league.
“That gives us something very positive to build on as we go into what is a very busy run of fixtures in the lead-up to Christmas.”
