Striker Rory McAllister spoke to the media ahead of tomorrow’s cinch League One encounter with Airdrieonians at Balmoral Stadium.
Rory said: “It will be a tough match.
“We’ve just got to go out there and play our own game and play the way we can play.
“As a player you want to be involved in the games that matter.
“If we pick up a win, we will stretch our lead at the top, so it’s one all the boys are looking forward to.
“We are confident of beating anybody in this league, so it’s up to us to ensure we play to our best on the day.
“We are getting to the business end of the season now, so every game is a big one.
“We’ve just got to try and keep our good run of form in the league going.
“We have got a big month ahead of us.”
We go into tomorrow’s clash with second placed Airdrie off the back of a 2-2 draw with Dumbarton last weekend.
Rory claimed his 17th goal of the season when he converted from the penalty spot to pull us back on level terms against the Sons.
Connor Scully then puts us 2-1 up but a late penalty gave Dumbarton a share of the spoils.
Rory admitted he was disappointed at full-time because we had failed to come away with all three points.
Rory said: “The first half we didn’t really turn up, but in the second, we were different class.
“We played some really nice football against the wind.
“We felt a little bit hard done by with the result to be honest, but that’s just football.
“Sometimes you’ve just got to get on with it.
“It’s all about the Airdrie game now and we know we will need to be at our very best for the full 90 minutes to take anything from that one.”
