Defender Mark Reynolds spoke to the media ahead of tomorrow’s cinch League One meeting with Falkirk at Balmoral Stadium.
Mark said: “It’s another huge game for us, but that’s something I’m becoming used to playing for Cove Rangers.
“I know questions were asked when I chose to move to League One after spending the bulk of my career in Scotland’s top division.
“But I knew I was coming into a league that is as competitive, if not more so, than the two above.
“Almost every side has players who have featured at higher levels and it means every game is tough.
“It will be certainly be that when we play Falkirk, especially if they decide to go with latest signing Leigh Griffiths, who is a quality striker.
“I’ve been getting a wee bit of stick from the lads because we haven’t won any of the games played since my arrival.
“That’s something I’m obviously keen to put right, although I have to say the four matches I have featured in were far from disastrous for us.
“We were extremely unlucky not to take Hibs to penalties in the Scottish Cup and followed that with three very hard earned draws with Dumbarton, Airdrieonians and Queen’s Park.
“The way the lads have reacted to not winning the last three games showed why I was so happy to come to Cove.
“Some teams might have been pleased to have at least picked up points, but there was real disappointment in our dressing room because it’s full of winners.
“They have set very high standards and accept only that will do if we are to have any chance of getting back to winning ways”
