Midfielder Blair Yule spoke to the media ahead of tomorrow’s cinch League One meeting with Clyde at Balmoral Stadium.
Blair said: “It’s another big week for us, but it’s been like that from the opening day of the season.
“It’s pleasing that we are facing Clyde on the back of a long unbeaten run, although that will make it even harder for us tomorrow.
“Clyde will be well aware of how well we have done, so will come here gunning for us in the hope that they can be the ones who end our run.
“It’s something we have to show we can cope with if we want to keep picking up the points needed to stay ahead of the sides just below us in the table.
“It’s also pleasing to be playing Clyde after such a good win over Peterhead last weekend, although there is no chance of any of us getting too carried away by that.
“While it was great to score five goals in that game, we came off pretty upset that we had also conceded a couple, even though the first was a cracker that we could have done little to prevent.
“It was the other way around in our previous game (the SPFL Trust Cup defeat to Queen of the South), where we were rock solid at the back, but failed to take advantage of the chances we created.
“You are always seeking perfection, where you are performing at your very best at both ends of the park, and that’s what we will be attempting to to do against Clyde.”
Blair has been praised by his team-mates and manager Paul Hartley for his displays in recent weeks, about which he said: “I’m not going to say I don’t like to see that sort of stuff.
“Everyone is pleased when people show appreciation for what you are trying to do.
“But it’s a team sport, where no individual is any more important than any other.
“We are a very tight group at Cove, so any accolades tend to be shared because we know you are only as good as the players around you.
“That strong unity has played a huge part in helping us get to where we are at the moment and we accept it will take a real team effort if we are to continue winning games.”

Match Programme
Cove Rangers assistant manager Gordon Young, who has just become a published author, speaks about his new book in the latest edition of UnCOVEred, the free online programme we publish for every home match.
The book – ‘Licence to Skill’ – tells the story of Gordon’s career in coaching over the last 20 years, working alongside top managers such as Paul Hartley, Craig Brown, Terry Butcher and Alex McLeish.
The book, which will be on sale at the club shop at Balmoral Stadium tomorrow, also reveals the identity of the foreign club that made a last ditch attempt to make Gordon their manager before he joined Cove Rangers.
UnCOVEred also contains an interview with Harry Milne, the star performer in last weekend’s victory over Peterhead and exclusive columns written by manager Paul Hartley and team captain Mitch Megginson.
