Defender Mark Reynolds spoke to the media ahead of tomorrow’s cinch League One meeting with Queen’s Park at Firhill Stadium.
Mark said: “It’s another difficult game for us, but it’s like that every week in this league.
“It’s why we never look any further forward than the next match.
“You have to remain fully focussed and treat every opponent with the same respect.
“Queen’s Park will be looking to get the three points to make sure they remain in a strong position to make the play-offs.
“They have also announced a new manager (Owen Coyle) is taking over in the summer, which will make an already tough job even more difficult for us.
“The players at Queen’s Park will be doing all that they can to impress him.
“We need to be ready for that and I’m sure we will be.
“Our manager and the rest of his coaching staff will make sure that is the case.
“Cove are a part-time club, but everything is done as if we are full-time.
“We obviously don’t have the luxury of training every day, but the coaches make sure every moment we are together is put to good use.
“There is never any time to dwell on how we did in the previous game, which you are able to do for a couple of days when you are full-time.
“As soon as the final whistle sounds in one game the focus turns immediately to the next one.
“The manager and Gordon Young (our assistant manager) are already working on what we need to do if we are to do well in that next one.”
