We can confirm defenders Ryan Strachan and Jevan Anderson, midfielder Kai Fotheringham and striker Ola Adeyemo have left the club as manager Paul Hartley prepares for our first season playing in the Championship. 

Ryan, Jevan and Ola had come to the end of their contracts and Kai, who joined us on loan from Dundee United in January, has returned to his parent club. 

Paul said: “All four leave with our appreciation for the contributions they made to what was an extremely memorable season for Cove Rangers.” 

Central defender Ryan joined us from Peterhead in the summer of 2017 and played a key role in helping us climb up from the Highland League and win the League Two and League One titles. 

Paul said: “Ryan has been a terrific player for Cove Rangers and I have enjoyed working with him over the last three years. 

“With the club moving up to the Championship, Ryan agreed it was a chance for him to pursue other opportunities.”
