History will be made next month when Balmoral Stadium plays host to a live televised cinch league match for the first time.

BBC Scotland has chosen to screen the fixture against Dundee, which will now go ahead on Friday, September 9th with a 7.45pm kick-off.

Cove Rangers have appeared live on television on half a dozen previous occasions, but only in cup competitions, so the encounter with the Dens Park outfit will see the club once again break new ground.

The only past meeting between the sides at Balmoral was a League Cup tie in 2019 when Dundee won the penalty shoot-out bonus point after a goalless draw.
