Everyone at the club was saddened to hear of the death of former director, Jim Rust.

Jim joined the Cove Rangers FC board on the same day as current chairman, Keith Moorhouse, in August 1997 and played a major role in setting up the commercial department, helping to raise considerable sums of money.

His contribution to the development of the club should not be underestimated, and he remained at Allan Park, offering support and advice, for over a decade.

Jim was also a long serving secretary of Aberdeen FC.

Our thoughts are with Jim’s family at this sad time. Funeral details will follow in due course.
