Fans will get a first chance to see the club’s new signings in action tonight when the team takes to the field for our opening pre-season friendly against Dunfermline Athletic.

The game kicks-off at 7.30pm at Balmoral Stadium.

Arron Darge is ineligible for the match, but the other recent captures will all feature alongside their new team-mates, and manager Paul Hartley is looking forward to seeing them in action:

“They’ve all shown up really well in the sessions we’ve had so far, the new boys seem to have settled nicely into the group, and I’ve liked what I’ve seen. There’s a real hunger there, a desire to do well for this club, and it will be good to see them getting some game time under their belts.”

Paul has also been running the rule over a number of trialists since Saturday’s first training stint, and he says they will be given the chance to impress:

“I’m not rushing to any snap decisions over them. It’s important to watch them closely, to get a feel for what they have to offer, and seeing them in a match situation feeds into that.

“They’ll be here for the rest of the week and will also get an opportunity in Saturday’s friendly with Formartine. It’s up to them to make an impact.”

There will be a cash turnstile in operation for both home & away supporters. The Fan Zone at the stadium will be open before the game for any who want to come along early.
