Following the wintery weather which hit the north-east this week, the Balmoral Stadium pitch lay under a thick covering of snow, conditions which meant the players could not train on Tuesday night.

They were back out there this evening thanks to the efforts of our good friend, the Inverurie Locos Chairman Mike Macaulay, who braved the elements and brought his snow plough to the ground, clearing the surface.

Mike’s help means there are no issues over Saturday’s meeting with Stenhousemuir which will go ahead as scheduled with a 3.00pm kick-off.

We would like to thank him for his friendship and support.
