Teenage midfielder Cole Donaldson is out for the season after a horrific leg break.

The highly-rated sixteen year old, who was put out on loan to Inverurie Locos to get game time, suffered the injury when being tackled during a midweek friendly.

Cole has been operated on and is now recovering in hospital.

Manager Paul Hartley says he is devastated for the youngster:

“It’s terrible for Cole, really upsetting, but he’s a strong boy and we will look after him in any way we can. He will get all the support he needs when he starts on his rehab, and he does at least have youth on his side. I am sure he will come back as good as ever.”

Everyone at the club would like to send our best wishes to Cole for as speedy a recovery as possible.
