We are delighted to announce the signing of versatile forward Quinn Coulson.
The twenty-one year old joins Cove Rangers on loan from Arbroath for the remainder of the 2024-25 campaign.
Quinn came through the youth ranks at Raith Rovers and moved to Gayfield after an impressive season with Alloa Athletic last year. It was then he caught the eye of Paul Hartley:
“He always did well against us for Alloa and will be a good attacking option. He can play off either side, and when we saw he was available, we felt he would be a good addition.
“It’s always worth adding to your firepower when you can, and we have been a bit short in terms of the squad, so it makes sense all round to bring him in.
“I look forward to working with him over the next few months.”
Quinn was delighted to make the move north and says he cannot wait to get going:
“I heard about it about a week ago, was told I could go out on loan and that Cove wanted me, so I thought it would be a great chance to get out and hopefully play more games. I spoke to Paul Hartley, he was keen to get me in, and now I just want to get on the pitch and help the team.”
The forward knows a few of his new team-mates, and was at Alloa with Mikey Doyle, so he sees no issues settling in to his new surroundings:
“I’ve come up against the boys a few times, they’re a good team and were always a strong opposition, so I hope to fit in well. I scored up here last season for Alloa, hopefully plenty more goals to come!
“I’m happy to play on both sides, I’m a direct winger that likes to get at the full-back and create chances in the final third, so I hope to make a good contribution.
“The league is as tight as anything, it’s there for anybody to take. I just want to help the team and try to get a good run going. I’m ready to go, can’t wait to get back playing.”
Quinn will wear the number fourteen shirt and goes straight into the squad for the trip to Ochilview.
We would like to thank Arbroath FC for their co-operation in securing the deal.
