Saturday’s win over Annan Athletic saw us pick up our 300th league point since joining the SPFL.
The total of 301 has been amassed from just 182 matches, an impressive haul, which took the club to two title wins, the play-offs in 2020-21, and a season in the Championship, the only side to have reached the second tier after coming up from either the Highland or Lowland Leagues.

STAT ATTACK
There were a few other statistics to emerge from Saturday’s game…
CONNOR SCULLY made his 85th successive start in competitive matches, and has now reached 555 appearances for the club overall.
MIKEY DOYLE played his 50th league game for the club in what was his 48th successive start. He has missed just one match since his debut as a trialist against Queen of the South in October 2023.
SCULLY, DOYLE and RYAN HARRINGTON remain ever-presents this season, all having started in each of our thirty-two games to date.
QUINN COULSON was named in the starting line-up for the first time, becoming the 86th player to start a league match for Cove Rangers in the SPFL.
FINDLAY MARSHALL became the first player to net a double in a game since MITCH MEGGINSON did so against Brora Rangers in the Scottish Cup on January 30th 2024. The last time anyone achieved that feat in a League One match was in December 2023 when RUMARN BURRELL, BLAIR YULE and KYLE CONNELL all did so in the 7-2 win over Edinburgh City.
We are now unbeaten in our last five home games since losing to Stenhousemuir in early December. That is our longest such sequence at Balmoral Stadium since a similar run between September and November 2023.
