Everyone at Cove Rangers would like to wish goalkeeper Nick Suman the very best following the confirmation of his move to Aberdeen FC.
The big Aussie had an outstanding couple of seasons at Balmoral having joined us in the summer of 2023.
The giant keeper made his Cove Rangers debut as a trialist in Connor Scully’s testimonial match in July that year, immediately catching the eye with some fine saves, and has gone on to prove himself an excellent stopper.
It was a massive move for him back then, heading around the world to Scotland, but Nick says it has paid dividends, and that he loved his time with the club. He has asked us to pass on this message:
“To everyone at Cove, I would like to say thank you, to all the players, coaching staff and the whole club.
“It’s been a pleasure working with everyone and being made to feel welcome from day one.
“I wish the club all the best for the future and I can’t wait for the next chapter in my career with Aberdeen.
“Thank you Cove!”
In total, Nick played fifty-nine games for Cove Rangers, and it would have been more, but for a couple of injuries.
We all look forward to seeing him develop his career further with the Dons.
