Welcome to Cove Rangers, Jordan White

Back to news

Cove Rangers are delighted to announce the signing of experienced striker Jordan White, adding proven SPFL firepower to Paul Hartley’s squad ahead of the new season, with the striker signing a two-year deal with the option of a third year.

White arrives at Balmoral Stadium boasting one of the most experienced CVs in Scottish football, having made more than 600 appearances, over 550 of those in Scotland, and scored over 160 career goals across a career spanning more than 15 years. The 34-year-old forward has represented a long list of clubs including Ross County, Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Motherwell, Livingston and Wrexham, with the vast majority of his most recent career spent in the Scottish Premiership and Championship.

During his time at Ross County alone, White made well over 200 appearances, becoming a key figure for the Dingwall club across multiple top-flight campaigns. His consistent output, durability and ability to perform at different levels of the Scottish game have made him one of the most reliable forwards in the domestic game over the past decade.

White is known for his physical presence, aerial dominance and intelligent link-up play, offering a focal point in attack and a platform for others around him to thrive.

Manager Paul Hartley said:

“With recent squad changes in mind, it was important for us to bring in someone who can immediately add leadership, experience, and a strong presence both on and off the pitch.

“Jordan has played over 600 games in his career and scored more than 160 goals at senior level, which shows the consistency he has maintained over a long period of time.

“He gives us something different – a real focal point, someone who can occupy defenders, bring others into play and provide a physical presence at the top end of the pitch. The experience he brings is going to be invaluable for us.

“We also have a number of younger players in the squad, so having someone like Jordan around the dressing room to help guide them and set standards every day is hugely important. We’re delighted to bring him in.”

Everyone at Cove Rangers would like to welcome Jordan to the club and wish him every success at Balmoral Stadium.
