Cove Rangers Football Club is delighted to announce that Chris Maguire has signed a one-year contract extension, keeping him at Balmoral Stadium until the summer of 2027.

Since arriving at the club, the experienced attacker has been an influential figure both on and off the pitch, bringing quality, creativity and leadership to Paul Hartley’s squad.

A player with an outstanding pedigree, Maguire has enjoyed a distinguished career at every level of the game, and his experience continues to be invaluable amongst a young squad.

Manager Paul Hartley is pleased to retain one of his key players.

“Chris is a top professional and someone who brings alot to the club. His quality on the ball is there for everyone to see, but it’s also his experience and influence around the dressing room that make him an important player for us.

“He’s still got a big part to play, and we’re delighted he’s staying. Keeping players of Chris’ calibre at the club is a massive positive as we continue preparing for the new season.”
