Cove Rangers Football Club is delighted to announce the extension of our Co-Operation Agreement with Aberdeen Football Club for the 2026/27 season.
The partnership proved a real success during the second half of the 2025/26 campaign, with Cooper Masson, Joseph Teasdale and Lewis Carrol all joining the club as part of the agreement. The trio gained valuable first-team experience in League 1, helping their development while making a positive contribution to the squad throughout the season.
As part of the renewed agreement, we are pleased to confirm that Joseph Teasdale will return to Balmoral Stadium for the 2026/27 campaign, while defender Dylan Ross also joins the club from Aberdeen.

Teasdale made 12 appearances during the second half of last season, scoring once and registering an assist. The pacey attacker quickly became a fan favourite with his direct running, energy and ability to stretch opposition defences, providing a real attacking threat whenever called upon.
Ross arrives after spending last season on loan at Elgin City, where he made 34 appearances, primarily at left-back. The 20-year-old scored twice and provided four assists as Elgin challenged for the League 2 promotion play-offs. He also captained Aberdeen’s Under-20 side during their KDM Evolution Trophy campaign, scoring once in five appearances.
Cove Rangers Chairman Keith Moorhouse welcomed the continuation of the partnership with Aberdeen FC.
“We are very grateful to Aberdeen FC for continuing the partnership between our two clubs. The Co-Operation Agreement exists to provide young players in Scottish football with an opportunity to develop their careers, and last season’s partnership demonstrated exactly how beneficial it can be.
“Between Joseph, Lewis and Cooper, they accumulated more than 1,700 minutes of League 1 football, gaining invaluable experience while making a real contribution to our squad.
“We are delighted to continue working closely with Aberdeen and to provide another platform for talented young players to continue their development in senior football.”
Everyone at Cove Rangers would like to thank Aberdeen Football Club for their continued support and cooperation, and we look forward to building on another successful partnership throughout the 2026/27 season.
Welcome back to Balmoral Stadium, Joseph, and a warm welcome to Dylan. We wish both players every success during their time with the club.
