WE are delighted to confirm Aberdeen FC duo Kevin Hanratty and Kieran Ngwenya have joined us on loan for the remainder of the season.

Both aged 18, Kevin and Kieran go straight into the squad for this weekend’s League One visit to East Fife.

Manager Paul Hartley said: “I would like to thank Aberdeen for agreeing to allow us to work with Kevin and Kieran.

“They are players I rate highly and it’s good to add some quality to what is a tight squad because we have a lot of games to be played in a short space of time between now and the end of the season.

“Joining us will also give Kevin and Kieran the opportunity to gain more first team experience, so there are benefits for both clubs.”

Attacking midfielder Kevin has been capped for Scotland at Under-16 and Under-17 level and has already featured in first team squads for Aberdeen.

Left-sided defender Kieran made his first team debut for the Dons when they beat Ross County 2-0 at Pittodrie in the Scottish Premiership last December.

Born in Edinburgh to South African parents, Kieran joined the Dons from Tynecastle BC and has been highly praised for his performances at youth level.

Everyone at Cove Rangers would like to welcome Kevin and Kieran to the club and wish them well during their time at Balmoral Stadium.
