Midfielder Iain Vigurs spoke to the media ahead of tomorrow’s cinch League One meeting with Alloa Athletic at Balmoral Stadium.
Iain said: “It’s great to finally be back playing at home after what were four very tough away fixtures.
“We knew we would need to dig deep to get the results we needed in those.
“Thankfully, the footballing Gods were smiling on us and we were able to come away with two wins and two draws that have us sitting in a good position in the league with just three games to go.
“The finishing line is in sight, but we accept there is still work to be done if we want our season to have a pleasing finale.
“We will go about trying to achieve that by doing what we have done since the campaign started – look no further than the next match.
“What we did in those last four games will count for nothing if we don’t apply ourselves properly against Alloa.
“We’ve worked really hard to get ourselves to this point, with everything still in our own hands.
“But it’s a case of putting in even more effort now, there can be no letting up at what is the most crucial stage of any season.”
Fans are reminded ticket prices for the Alloa game have been slashed to £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.
Let’s pack out Balmoral Stadium and help the manager and players in their bid to end the season strongly.
