The SPFL has today published the 2026/27 fixtures for the league phase of the KDM Evolution Trophy, which gets under way on Tuesday, August 11.

Season 2026/27 will now see more clubs compete in an expanded 40-club league phase. Points gained by clubs across the six matchdays will feed into one league table, with the top 22 clubs qualifying for the knock-out Round of 32.

Cove Rangers will begin their campaign with an away trip to League 2 side Stirling Albion. The team will also face two Premiership B teams – Dundee United B for the second year running, as well as Aberdeen B.

Dumbarton, who we face in the Premier Sports Cup a week on Saturday, are our third opponents, while Highland League sides Fraserburgh and Formartine United, both taking part in the competition for the first time, complete the list.

Stirling Albion vs Cove Rangers – Tuesday 11 August – 7:45pm

Cove Rangers vs Dundee United B – Tuesday 25 August – 7:45pm

Cove Rangers vs Dumbarton – Tuesday 8 September – 7:45pm

Fraserburgh vs Cove Rangers – Tuesday 22 September – 7:45pm 

Cove Rangers vs Aberdeen B – Saturday, 26 September – 3pm 

Cove Rangers vs Formartine United – Tuesday 13 October – 7:45pm
